Indian government offices belong to a sovereign nation. For some, there is an odd interplay between the Indian government offices and the other court systems and offices in the United States. Sometimes, this gives the Indian Territory an advantage because certain acts, prohibitions, and preambles in the state and federal constitutions do not necessarily apply to them in the same way. This allows some tribes to host gambling casinos in states that normally would not allow them. For most people, the government offices work just like any other. They have tourist offices that give passports and visas. They have meetings of the house to discuss laws and the court. They have people who support independent free thought, as well as those who subscribe to religious, secular, socialist, Democratic, Republican, and Independent ideals. When you contact the tourist office about getting a passport or visa, though, these things probably do not occur to you. The differences between the courts and house on the Indian Territory and those in the rest of the United States might become more apparent though when you have an issue that crosses boundaries. For instance, there is sometimes a question of which court should be used if a company fails to give Indian workers appropriate wages for their labor. If you are uncertain about which government office you need to contact, then you should go to or contact the court house so that you can get more specific answers about the exact government services that you need.
